The Imhotep’s Legacy Academy (ILA) is in its 23rd year of operation and, on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026, will hold its 23rd Youth Excellence Awards Ceremony to celebrate our program participants, university-student Mentors/Tutors, funders, and supporters, as we have done annually.

The Theme for this year’s event is Powered by Purpose “Using STEM to make a difference.”
This theme honours students who are driven by purpose in everything they do, using technology not just for achievement, but for impact. It reflects ILA’s mission of empowering youth to lead and serve through STEM.
