In partnership with the Discovery Centre, Sprouting Science camps explore plant science and gardening through hands-on experiences with hydroponics, planting, and garden-based learning. Campers will dive into topics like growing food, environmental science, and sustainable agriculture while connecting with their local community.

Sprouting Science x Social Entrepreneurship Camps
For: African Nova Scotian youth, ages 8–13
Cost: FREE
This exciting, hands-on week blends the science of growing, harvesting, and caring for our environment with the creativity and strategy of entrepreneurship. Campers will explore how agriculture and sustainability go hand in hand with business innovation through fun, interactive activities and visits from inspiring special guests. Using their knowledge of plants and sustainability, campers will develop, pitch, and market real products, bringing their ideas to life. To wrap up the week, campers will put their new skills to the test, showcasing and selling their creations in a youth market day. This camp is the perfect place to learn, grow, and shine!
