The Imhotep’s Legacy Academy (ILA) is in its 21st year of operation and on Saturday, May 18, 2024, will hold its 21st Youth Excellence Awards Ceremony (formerly closing ceremony) to celebrate our program participants, university-student Mentors/Tutors, funders, and supporters as we have done annually.

Venue: Irving Oil Auditorium, 5257 Morris Street Richard Murray Design Building, Dalhousie University
The theme for this year’s event is dubbed STEM Dreams Realized!
As as has always been the case, this year’s event will showcase the contributions of international science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professionals and also highlight the STEM program activities conducted by ILA for learners of African heritage.
